Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026
1. Our commitment to accessibility
Idan LaNadlan is committed to providing people with disabilities full and equal access to the site's content, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 and the Accessibility of Service Regulations (Amendment No. 19), as well as the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.
2. Accessibility standard
The site works to meet the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.1 level AA. This standard requires businesses in Israel providing service to the public to ensure their websites are accessible, since January 2021.
3. What was done to improve accessibility
- A dedicated accessibility widget — a floating button in the corner of the screen that enables text enlargement (up to 125%), a high-contrast mode, stopping animations, and highlighting links; preferences are saved between visits
- Light/dark display mode by user choice
- Accessibility labels (aria) on interactive elements, including forms, dialogs, and suggestion lists
- Descriptive alternative text (alt) for content images on the site
- Color contrast meeting level AA requirements, plus a dedicated high-contrast mode in the accessibility widget
- Keyboard navigation — interactive elements are reachable via Tab, with a visible focus indicator; dialogs close on Escape
- A "skip to content" link at the top of the page for quick navigation by screen-reader users
- Labels linked to fields in all forms, and error announcements for screen readers
- Hierarchical heading structure and support for RTL (Hebrew) and LTR (English, French, Spanish) direction
- Animations respect the operating system's setting (prefers-reduced-motion) and can be fully stopped via the accessibility widget
- Fonts can be enlarged without breaking the layout
4. Accessibility arrangements on the site
To open the accessibility widget, click the round accessibility button (person icon) at the bottom corner of the screen, or navigate to it using the Tab key. From the widget you can enlarge text, enable high contrast, stop animations, and highlight links — and the settings are saved for future visits.
5. Known limitations
We work continuously to improve accessibility, and some parts may not yet be fully accessible. In addition, the site incorporates content and services from external parties not under our direct control — such as embedded maps (Google Maps, GovMap), social network players, and the WhatsApp service — and their accessibility depends on these providers. Encountered a difficulty? Let us know and we'll arrange an accessible alternative.
6. Accessibility coordinator — reporting issues
Encountered an accessibility issue? We'd be glad to know so we can resolve it promptly.
